How to take care of your uggs

Although our genuine sheepskin footwear is fundamentally weather proof, they are not waterproof when we deliver them to you. To help protect and preserve them it is recommended that they are sprayed with a sheepskin water and oil repellent which can be purchased from our catalogue.

To keep your ugg boots and slippers looking good and maintain their comfort, clean and wash them occasionally.

Cleaning and care:
Although our genuine sheepskin footwear is fundamentally weather proof, they are not waterproof when we deliver them to you. Store them in a dry place just as you would with other shoes. Leave the openings un obstructed which will allow them to air and the fleece will keep that softness that you have become accustomed to.

Should your ugg boots get extremely wet, follow the instructions below on how to dry them after washing.

Washing:
For the best results, hand wash your ugg boots using warm water (not hot water) and an approved mild wool detergent.
Using a soft damp cloth or a soft bristled brush, scrub the boots gently then wrap them in a towel to absorb excess water. Allow them to dry naturally in a dry shady area out of direct sunlight or heat. When dry, brush gently in the same direction with a soft brush.
Because your ugg boots are made from genuine sheepskin they will shrink a little after a wash but will soon expand and mould to the shape of your feet and be as comfortable as ever.

We also recommend that you apply another coating of waterproof spray after washing.
